For Wade Giles, helping clients buy or sell a home isn’t a one-time transaction. The enthusiastic, self-described “people person” takes an active interest in his clients’ lives, getting to know their families and maintaining friendships with them long after closing the sale. Whether he’s bringing in a sommelier from out of state to conduct a wine tasting or planning a mystery bus tour, Wade prides himself on curating unique client experiences that add fun to the home-buying and -selling equation.
Motivated by a deep desire to pursue a career in real estate, Wade returned to his native Texas and put down roots in Austin in 2013 after earning a finance degree from Louisiana State University and studying at the International Center of Photography in New York. Determined to make his mark on one of the nation’s hottest real estate markets, Wade landed a position at Moreland Properties, where his boundless optimism and indefatigable work ethic continue to fuel his rising star.
Wade’s warm and friendly nature, passion for helping others, and ability to match discerning buyers with ideal premier properties — from ranches, to high-rise condos, to sprawling estates — have given him an edge in Austin’s highly competitive real estate industry. In just four short years, he has racked up $20 million in residential real estate sales. He’s the youngest Realtor ever to be inducted into the Austin Elite 25, a prestigious group made up of the top 1 percent of Austin’s real estate agents. And he earned a spot among the ranks of the Luxury League, a premier membership organization that recognizes high-performing real estate agents in South and Central Texas who specialize in luxury residential sales. Wade is a finalist in the 2018 Austin Under 40 Awards, which honor and celebrate the city’s emerging professionals for their leadership and dedication to serving the community.
When he’s not helping clients find their dream homes, Wade generously volunteers his time on the Board of Directors for Keep Austin Beautiful and Ballet Austin. During his downtime, Wade and his husband, Jeff Schab, enjoy traveling, hosting dinner parties, horseback riding, and walking their rescue dog, Sport.
