To Wade Giles, helping clients buy or sell a home isn’t a one-time transaction. The enthusiastic, self-described “people person” takes an active interest in his clients’ lives, getting to know their families and maintaining friendships with them long after closing the sale. Whether he’s bringing in a sommelier from out of state to conduct a wine tasting or planning a mystery bus tour, Wade prides himself on curating unique client experiences that add fun to the home-buying and -selling equation.
Motivated by a deep desire to pursue a career in real estate, Wade returned to his native Texas and put down roots in Austin in 2013 after earning a finance degree from Louisiana State University and studying at the International Center of Photography in New York. Determined to make his mark on one of the nation’s hottest real estate markets, Wade landed a position at Moreland Properties, where his boundless optimism and indefatigable work ethic continue to fuel this rising star.
Wade’s commitment to his clients, love for his profession, and personal approach to real estate transactions have given him an edge in a highly competitive industry. In 2018 alone, he racked up more than $36 million in residential real estate sales. In recognition of his success, he qualified for membership in the Elite 25 Austin, a prestigious group made up of the top 0.2 percent of Austin’s real estate agents. “Wade is one of the most promising young agents ever to be inducted into the Elite 25 Austin. In just four years Wade has gained a loyal and devoted client base and has demonstrated he truly understands the intricacies of the luxury home market,” said Tony Trungale, Managing Director of the Elite 25 Austin.
Wade also earned a spot among the ranks of the Luxury League, a premier membership organization that recognizes high-performing real estate agents in South and Central Texas who specialize in luxury residential sales. Wade is further a finalist in the 2018 Austin Under 40 Awards, which honor and celebrate the city’s emerging professionals for their leadership and dedication to serving the community. In 2019, Wade claimed a spot in the top ten for Austin Business Journal’s Residential Real Estate Awards.
When he’s not helping clients find their dream homes, Wade generously volunteers his time on the Board of Directors for Keep Austin Beautiful and Ballet Austin. During his downtime, Wade enjoys traveling; hosting pool and dinner parties; competing with his show horse, Sherlock; and hiking with his rescue dog, Sport.
